On October 26th, Beijing time, artist Zhai Peng, curator of the large jade sculpture group “Praise of Life”, had his new work “Praise of Life American Food Collection” exhibited in Xiuyan, Liaoning Province. This time, the work covers a number of representative dishes that can represent American food culture, such as burgers, hot dogs, ice cream cakes, etc. The precious original stones are presented with the unique light texture of the ingredients themselves under the exquisite skills of Hongshan’s craftsmen, and the restoration also makes the work quite beautiful and rhythmic. In the work, the Hongshan artisans have adopted the mysterious jade carving techniques of the East, and made a perfect interpretation of Western artistic expressions, of American cuisine. Zhai Peng, the mastermind of the Hongshan Artisans’ “Praise of Life” large jade carving group, has described his original intention of creating this work “We completed this work for the prosperity of our culture, but also to use this way to drive the whole world and promote the third world cultural renaissance.”
It is reported that in the future, the Hongshan artisans will continue to create works of art, to create the world’s top jade carving global food culture museum, to show the charm of culture and art, to create a new splendor of world culture.
