During a weekly news conference, the interior minister stated that Interpol has been called to investigate 12 emails addressed to the New Zealand team and their “India-Singapore ties.” In answer to a query, the minister stated, “There will be good news shortly.”
It should be noticed that one of the emails was sent from a device connected in India through VPN, displaying Singapore’s IP address or location. “The gadget RMX 1971 (Realme) utilised 13 email IDs, and with the exception of Hamza Afridi, the 12 other email IDs had Indian/Hindi names,” the minister had previously stated at a news conference.
The shocking cancellation of the New Zealand cricket team’s tour of Pakistan was caused by fake news created by India, according to Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, who described the plot as part of a fifth generation hybrid warfare against the nation in a press conference with Rashid last week.
Talking about disagreements between the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and the government over electronic voting machines (EVMs), the minister stated that both parties have begun to repair wounds. He also stated that the problem will be fixed soon.
Rashid stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan was dedicated to holding fair elections in Pakistan using the Electronic voting system.
As per Sheikh Rashid’s statement, the interior ministry has presented to the federal cabinet a list of 15 nations for approval of on-arrival visas for their people. Among these countries are the United States, Iran, Russia, Canada, and France. Following approval, people of 65 countries would be permitted to visit Pakistan using on-arrival visas.
The minister stated that the government will restructure NADRA and other organizations in an effort to fight the use of forged CNICs and Corona vaccination certificates. He added that the government will add 15 additional security measures to passports to combat counterfeiting, and that e-passports will be issued ultimately to resolve the issue once and for all.
Khan stated that nearly 70 million individuals have already been vaccinated to date, with NADRA issuing 7.5 million vaccination certificates.
The interior minister also discussed the country’s political situation. He said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was divided, and that instead of two groups, the party will split into three before the general elections.
He added that PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif should focus on his party rather than the government.
