WePlay Esports Partnered with Oleksandr Usyk in the Field of Fighting Games
Eminent esports media holding company WePlay Esports has recently announced its collaboration with world boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk in the field of fighting games. The announcement was made on December 13, 2020.
WePlay Esports Managing Partners Oleg Krot and Yura Lazebnikov are excited to have Oleksandr join them for their new league named WePlay Ultimate Fighting League.

Oleksandr is an Olympic champion, an undisputed world heavyweight champion among professionals, a holder of the Muhammad Ali Trophy, and a mandatory contender for the WBO heavyweight title.
He has been boxing for half his life: the 33-year-old athlete started training when he was 15. Having started his professional boxing career in 2013, Oleksandr has fought 18 fights without a single defeat, winning 13 of them by knockout.
Not only does Oleksandr dedicate his time and efforts to his sports career, but also to business. He runs the Usyk-17 Promotions company, sportswear and accessories label Usyk-17, and co-manages the LOMUS clothing brand with famous boxer Vasily Lomachenko.
Oleksandr has always been a big fan of video games. Talking about his partnership with WePlay Esports, Oleksandr noted: “Competitive gaming is both a popular hobby for many young people and a promising direction for investors. I chatted with Yura Lazebnikov and Oleg Krot, they told me the specifics of the industry, and I decided to try my hand in this business. Besides, I played games before, and now I’m back to this hobby.”
