The LiveNow!TV app launched in January, 2014 on Google Play and Amazon Appstore with overwhelming success. LiveNow!TV allows users to watch and record from over 500 live channels and On Demand channels and 45,000 on demand programs, (including movies, sports, interactive and documentaries). To date, a total of 750,000 users have downloaded the app and it has a 3.8 average rating on Google Play with over 4000 reviews.
LiveNow! is now in the process of launching a new funding campaign on IndieGoGo to help fund development and marketing of an iOS app. IndieGoGo allows anyone to donate to start-up companies in exchange for perks. LiveNow! included 8 perks in its campaign, ranging from beta testing the iOS app, t shirts, mugs, to a LiveNow!TV inspired iPad mini. “The highlight of our Perks offering has to be the TV channel. Someone will be able to broadcast to our hundreds of thousands and potentially over a million users with their very own channel on the LiveNow!TV app.”, commented VP Shelly Glenn. Anyone that donates or refers someone that donates to the campaign will be placed in a draw a month after the target is met.
