WHIPPED: new to the RUSTIC MODERN collection by reSAWN TIMBER co. features hand scraped character grade white oak prefinished with a matte polyurethane.
GRAZE: new to the RUSTIC MODERN collection by reSAWN TIMBER co. features the unique character and grain pattern of our original cut White Oak. Original cut is a way of cutting the log that incorporates plain sawn, rift sawn and quarter sawn grain patterns and all grades and character marks into the final product. GRAZE is white oak prefinished with our hardwax oil which is natural, non-toxic and 100% VOC-free. our hardwax oil produces a durable, matte finish that respects the natural look and feel of the wood.
DRIFTWOOD: new to the RUSTIC MODERN collection by reSAWN TIMBER co. is original cut white oak with a matte polyurehtane finish for added durability. This multi-layered finish accentuates the unique grain patterns of our original cut white oak.
AMITY and USHER: new to the RUSTIC MODERN collection by reSAWN TIMBER co. are standard at 7″ wide making for a beautiful, yet affordable wide plank oak flooring option. Available as a 5/8″ or 3/4″ thick engineered product for added stability.
JAVELIN: new to the enCORE collection by reSAWN TIMBER co. features reclaimed oak that is skip planed. skip planing is a process whereby the boards are put thru a planer set to only remove the high points, “skipping” over the low points to create contrast. expect a rustic, textured surface, with dense & varying grain patterns.
REED: new the enCORE collection by reSAWN TIMBER co. features antique reclaimed hemlock that has been wirebrushed to accentuate the unique grain pattern of hemlock. expect a fairly consistent dark brown color with lots of texture and variation to the grain. standarly available unfinished for wall and ceiling cladding.
LASSEN and BLACKBURN: new to the Plateau collection by reSAWN TIMBER co. feature plain sawn, select grade ash that has been heat treated and prefinished with polyurethane. The rich colors of LASSEN and BLAKCBURN are not achieved by staining but rather thru a process whereby the wood is treated using heat and steam. This process darkens the color of the wood and rearranges its cell structure to reduce movement related to moisture.
