Text Message Marketing Company Text2VIP announces ban on text marketing clients using drive-time SMS campaigns.

During a live podcast earlier today, the text message marketing company Text2VIP announced that effective April 1, 2013, they will not allow the use of SMS campaigns targeted toward drivers via radio and billboard. In what is being called a “landmark move” by The American Coalition to Stop Texting While Driving, the text marketing software provider to brands and businesses nationwide announced it will no longer provide clients with text marketing campaigns targeted to consumers who are driving.
