Championship Chorus has “Something to Talk About”

The Talk of Tulsa Show Chorus is presenting its show, “Something to Talk About” at 7:30pm on November 17th at the Union PAC, 6636 S. Mingo Road.

The Sweet Adelines International Region 25 1st Place chorus, the Talk of Tulsa Show Chorus is partnering with the Union Choral Parents Association to present its annual show, “Something to Talk About” at 7:30pm on November 17th at the Union Performing Arts Center, 6636 S. Mingo Road. Special guests on the show include 2 choral groups from Union High School, Sweet Adelines International Region 25 3rd Place Quartet Z4!, and Barbershop Harmony Society International Quartet Quarter Finalist, The Racketeers.

Filled with humor and music, this family –friendly show features a large variety of songs performed by the chorus, featured quartets and the Union Harmony and Treble Makers choruses. “We enjoy sharing the art of a capella singing with these talented young ladies. A portion of the show proceeds will be shared with Union High School to assist with the costs of music,” said Frank Friedemann, Talk of Tulsa Show Chorus Director.

Talk of Tulsa is a female a capella chorus consisting of 53 women varying in age from early teens to late sixties who enjoy sharing the Tulsa originated art of barbershop singing through educational workshops, student mentoring, and performances throughout Tulsa and surrounding communities. Awarded first place overall at the Region 25 Sweet Adelines competition for 2012, the lively group of vocal artists is eager to entertain you with a mix of tunes from many genres as well as classic hits made famous by Elvis and The Eagles.
