ABODA, the nation’s 5th largest corporate housing provider headquartered in Redmond, WA, announced that it has promoted Marci Abinanti to Vice President, effective immediately.
Abinanti started her career when the corporate housing industry was still relatively young in 1995. Today, according to the 2012 Corporate Housing Industry Report, it is a $2.49 billion industry. Abinanti brings a wide breadth of knowledge to her new position with 17 years of industry experience spanning both sides of the business from facilities management to client program development and management. Her most recent position prior to the promotion was as Director of Client Services where she successfully oversaw housing programs for key clients such as Microsoft, Graebel, Amazon, Cartus, Gates Foundation, and Starbucks.
Abinanti is a known industry leader who has held several key positions within the Corporate Housing Providers Association. Her contributions included participation in the creation of the Certified Corporate Housing Providers Exam as a member of the Education committee. She continues her support of CHPA as a member of the Conference Committee. She also serves on the local Pacific Northwest Relocation Council’s (PNwRC) Social Responsibility Committee and participates in the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council.
For her excellence in client services, Abinanti was the recipient of the Microsoft Partnership Excellence Award. She has also been instrumental in ABODA receiving several designations and awards such as Microsoft Services University Founder’s Award, Graebels’ Partnership Award, the Industry Partner of the Year award by the Washington Multi-Family Housing Association, as well as the Innovative Services Award from the BBB.
Additionally, as a Puget Sound native, Marci is active locally through her participation on the PNwRC social responsibility committee where she is involved with Northwest Harvest, Relay for Life, Bark for Life, and the Union Gospel Mission. Through her participation on the ABODA Community Service Committee she is also actively involved with Way Back Inn, Issaquah Clothing and Food Bank, Page Ahead, Tree House, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
