Amadeus Consulting, a custom software development company, was among ten companies to receive a 10 for Change award. A city-funded program that encourages energy-use reduction and environmentally friendly changes to a business’ operations, 10 for Change calls for companies to reduce energy use by 10 percent in the program scorecard areas of outreach, energy, waste, transportation and water.
Amadeus Consulting received the Innovation in Outreach/Education award for BLAST! Network, an educational program that focuses on helping the Boulder business community to reduce energy use and maintain an environmentally-friendly approach to business operations.
“Receiving this award along with some of Boulder’s most respectable companies is a tremendous honor,” said Lisa Calkins, chief executive officer for Amadeus Consulting. “We believe in finding new ways our employees and our company can minimize our collective impact on the environment, and this award helps remind us we are on the right track in that effort.”
