A recent study showed that overweight kids are just as a safe as other kids in child safety seats.

With a country plagued with childhood obesity, it’s great to know that they are not in any additional danger while in car seats. Regardless of the child’s weight, they should have equal protection while in a vehicle. But, parents still need to make it a priority to get their child’s weight under control and make lifestyle changes for them. If not, they stand to suffer from greater problems later on in life.
