WAGE THEFT IS REAL. PROTECT YOURSELF.

The Dept. of Labor has launched an IPhone app to help workers track their work hours. The San Francisco wage and hour lawyers urge you to keep your own records.

09/21/2011 // San Francisco, CA, USA // Keller Grover LLP // Eric Grover, San Francisco Employment Attorney

We recommend that all hourly employees keep their own records including regular hours, break time and overtime to ensure that their employers pay them the hard earned wages that they are entitled to, says Eric Grover, a San Francisco employment lawyer. Too often workers rely on their employer to be honest and accurate. This first step by the DOL is significant as it supports workers’ rights to fair pay. The app is only available for IPhones but other smartphone versions are in the works.
