CDC: ADHD Diagnosis Rise, Found 1 in 10 Kids

Nearly one in 10 American children receiving an ADHD diagnosis, according to a U.S. Centers for Disease Control study.

I think this is absolutely absurd! I honestly don’t believe that many kids suffer from ADHD, instead I think it’s the doctors who are pushing medication. We are medicating our kids too much, and it’s easier to just give them a pill then deal with a behavioral issue. We are too quick to diagnose our kids with ADHD, rather than looking at other underlying reasons. Maybe the reason the child won’t pay attention or is hyperactive is because there is no discipline in the home.
