Asbestos training program a scam; owner pleads guilty

A California safety consulting company ran a fraudulent training program for asbestos workers, reports Cooney and Conway.

Rogelio “Roger” Lowe, was accused of carrying out a scheme whereby workers were issued certification in asbestos removal without receiving the required amount of training, reported mesothelioma attorneys, Cooney and Conway. Lowe pleaded guilty to two counts of mail fraud on July 29.
