Dallas car crash Lawyer reports – Dallas Fire Rescue truck on Central Expressway

Dallas Fire Rescue ladder truck slammed into early this morning by morning driver. Driver fails to see a flashing light ladder truck slamming into rear of rig.

Texas  highway accident reporters and Dallas County car crash lawyers report an early morning driver failed to see a fire truck and slammed into the back of the rig. The Dallas Fire Rescue ladder truck was extinguishing an SUV blaze, on the Central Expressway this morning, when another driver failed to see the big flashing light rig. Fire crews parked an engine, with flashing lights, on southbound Central Expressway near Lover’s Lane, to shield the fire crew from oncoming traffic. Dallas Police Department investigators are still trying to determine how the driver managed to fail to see the truck. The driver slammed his car into the rescue vehicle, wedging it underneath the back of the huge rig, causing an additional accident. No firefighters were injured, and the driver of the car suffered minor injuries which were treated on the scene.

Dallas car accident lawyer / roadway safety advocates and Dallas County auto accident attorneys are urging all Texans to remember the following key issues while driving on local and national highways. When in the presence of fire rescue, police, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) crews:

-SLOW DOWN when you see rescue vehicles
-MOVE your vehicle to the lane furthest away from the accident scene
-STOP your vehicle if traffic conditions warrant
-STAY ALERT to flashing lights, police officers and rescue workers

Dallas truck wreck reporters and Dallas car crash attorneys say accidents requiring rescue and police responses happen every day on our roads and highways. Failing to yield to police officers and rescue workers may not only cause another accident it may also become a criminal offense. If you have been injured by a driver failing to yield to rescue workers and you may be entitled to compensation for your damages and injuries.
