India seeking help from Saudi Arabia to put pressure on Pakistan regarding terrorism

India will be looking forward to get due support from Saudi Arabia for pressurizing Pakistan to take action against the terror outfits. Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Saudi Foreign Minster is planning to come to India for a day’s visit on Friday. Pranab Mukherjee, the External Affairs Minster, in a meeting with Saudi Minister will share the details that make a clear association with Pakistani-based factors and the Mumbai attacks. Mukherjee will also be invoking transformed bonds between Saudi Arabia and India, following the visit of King Abdullah to Delhi in the year 2006 and also seek support of Riyadh in pressuring Islamabad taking serious actions against the anti-India terrorist outfits.

Saudi Arabia, a most influential nation in the world of Arab, which enjoys close contacts with Washington served as a primary supporter of Pakistan. Saudi Arabia and India has signed the 2006 Delhi Declaration and also inked some pact to combat the terrorists. This is the third visit of the Saudi Arabian person from some Muslim nation since the Mumbai terrorist attacks on Nov 26. Also, New Delhi will be seeking the support from Riyadh in order to clamp down the terrorists financing, some portion of whom use the Saudi Arabian’s charities to generate funds for the subversive activities.

With Pakistan making its propaganda unpleasant against India, the latter will be drawing attention to the reports under Saudi media, which have been grave for New Delhi, however, being sympathetic towards Islamabad. Also, Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India, will be visiting Saudi Arabia next year. Dr. Singh was all set to visit Riyadh but he had to put off his plans due to the prior promises of Saudi King. Even Yusuf Bin Alawai Bin Abdullah, the Foreign Minister of Oman visited India last week in order to provide support to track the Mumbai attacks perpetrators.
