Nursing home abuse is nothing new. It can lead to death especially of the weak and the elderly. There are many reasons for fatalities. A glaring example is of Mr. Elmore Kittower, 80, who died in November 2007.it is alleged he was tortured at Silverado Senior Living, a Calabasas nursing home, in Los Angles, California. The employees at the nursing home physically tortured him. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Department detectives have taken four people into police custody as this torture ended in death. The increasing neglect and lowering of standards in America is a matter of concern.
