Hi, what are you looking for?

Will Facebook revert back or give way to another?

Social networking is the order of the day. People from all over the world can now interact with each other with the help of various social networking sites available. Advancement in Internet technology has paved way for millions from around the world to interact with each other with the help of sites like Xanga, Orkut, MySpace and Facebook.

Among the social networking sites, Facebook which has been around for three years now has gained in popularity due to its interface which is user friendly and effective. The site is also designed to be simple yet classy.
With the help of Facebook, people have had an opportunity to make new friends and also locate old friends and acquaintances. Last week saw this site coming out with a new interface in a bid to restructure and revamp its existing Facebook. This “new Facebook” according to the site was put on a trial run and users apparently could switch back to the original interface if they were not happy with it.

However, to their dismay users found the new interface permanently replacing the old one. According to feedbacks, a lot of users do not like the “new Facebook” as much as the older one. This is because they find it difficult to use features like “Bumper stickers” and “Free Gifts”. They also feel there is a lot of empty white space here and have lodged complaints with the site administrator.
With a lot of people opting to delete accounts with Facebook, it may well be the right time for an enterprising new social networking site launch which could replace “Facebook”.
