King Mohammed VI Expresses Solidarity With France After Paris Attacks

HM King Mohammed VI on Saturday expressed solidarity with France in the wake of Friday night’s terrorist attacks in Paris where almost 130 people were killed as a result of a series of co-ordinated gun and bomb attacks.

 

In a message of condolences to French President François Hollande , the Sovereign said “I offer my most saddened condolences to you, to the innocent victims’ families and to the entire French people as well as my earnest wishes of prompt recovery to the wounded.’’ 

 

“I would like to condemn in the strongest terms on behalf of the Moroccan people and in my own name these vile terrorist acts and express our full solidarity and support in this ordeal,’’ said the Monarch.

 

The king also offered on behalf of the Moroccan people and personally, his condolences to French Prime Minister Manuel Valls. While condemning in the strongest terms these horrendous attacks, the King’s message expressed Morocco’s full solidarity and support to the French prime minister.

 

‘’I am convinced that the French security forces will be able to triumph over authors of these abominable criminal acts and that thanks to the French people mobilization and determination to defend their lofty values, your country will face this terrible experience,’’ also said the Sovereign in his message to Valls.
