WINDSOR – A Storage Place (ASP), a regional self-storage facility provider based in California with twenty-six locations in the Southwestern United States, has selected McCauley Constructors to provide complete planning, design and construction services on four of its projects in the Colorado. A Storage Place in Loveland, Colorado is nearing completion of its first phase of expansion adding 40,000 SF which will be ready to occupy this month. A second phase expansion is slated to start early spring 2016. A Storage Place is also expanding its current facilities in Evergreen and Sheridan, Colorado. The Evergreen expansion will include 52,000 SF of two story self-storage and is slated to start construction this month with occupancy April 2016. The Sheridan expansion will be 48,000 SF on three stories and is slated to start construction in April 2016 as well. The vibrant storage unit market has culminated into six to twelve month waiting lists at many of the existing storage facilities around Colorado leaving facility owners fighting to meet the high demand due to the continued rapid growth in the Colorado market. With many master planned communities and Home Owners Associations not allowing for boats, RV’s and other toys enjoyed by the active Colorado lifestyle, a storage facility becomes a new “must have”.
ASP’s projects consist of constructing new state of the art, sustainable sites which include the latest technology in steel manufactured insulated buildings, wider interior corridors; a popular and cost-effective way to maximize land use. This combined with aesthetically pleasing exterior finishes makes for ease of approval at city planning. In addition, McCauley Constructors team will leverage the latest technologies and lean construction methods to efficiently deliver all of ASP’s expansion projects within budget and on time to meet the market demand.
