Bloodleaf Studios, LLC, a software and video game development studio has announced their acquisition of office space at the coveted AZ TechCelerator. The studio was first introduced to the AZ TechCelerator through the incubators partnership with the University of Advancing Technology. The AZ TechCelerator will accelerate the young company’s growth through their mentor programs, business resources, collaboration & networking, and connected high-tech office space. The business incubator’s goal is the creation of jobs in the West Valley Arizona community, which neatly matches the goals of Bloodleaf Studios to create technology jobs in a tough economy. The studio is excited for the development opportunities and business expansion that the new location will provide.
Bloodleaf Studios plans to use the new office to advance production on several of their new titles. On the heels of their first Android OS release, Theseus: First Flight, the studio has announced a new project, Draco the Savior, a 2D side-scrolling shooter to be released in October 2013. The Theseus Effect, a 2D top-down space exploration game in a maze environment, is also set to have a demo release around the same time as Draco’s release.
The studio kicked off a donation campaign via the crowdfunding website GoFundMe in an effort to help offset their initial costs. Money from this campaign will be going towards their costs in obtaining and purchasing hardware and software.
