U.S. Labor Dept. to Propose New Rules for Employment of Disabled Workers

The U. S. Department of Labor is proposing rules that would require federal contractors and subcontractors to have seven percent of their workforce comprised of people with disabilities, which is a move in the right direction for employment equality, reports Eric Grover, a Los Angeles employment lawyer. People with disabilities deserve the opportunity to work, and it should start with the opportunity to work in governmental jobs.
