The Ten Manchester Street hotel in Marylebone has been the subject of a highly complementary review by Halle Carlson of The Sloaney magazine, which specialises in luxury living.
The hotel, which has a total of 45 individually decorated and designed rooms, was visited by the magazine’s beauty editor Halle Carlson earlier last month (June 2012), and the hotel certainly made an impression on her. According to Halle’s review, she will definitely be returning for a stay at the London hotel before long and claimed that it offered the ‘perfect London getaway’.
During her visit to Ten Manchester Street, Halle was especially impressed by the hotel’s service. As per Bespoke Hotel’s standards, she was greeted at reception by one of the hotel’s friendly receptionists before being shown to her room – one of Ten’s junior suites.
All of the rooms at Ten Manchester Street have been lavishly decorated and furnished and every single bed is made up with Egyptian sheets that have been freshly laundered and pressed. There is also an en suite bathroom with a relaxing rain shower in every suite.
After taking in her lavish bedroom, Halle headed down to the Ten Lounge Bar, where she was treated to a champagne reception and canapés before being asked to join in with the cocktail masterclass that was being held. Champagne masterclasses at Ten Manchester Street are held by the hotel’s head mixologist and is a fantastic way of spending an evening at the hotel.
Before heading to the hotel’s restaurant for a meal, Halle was invited into the Cigar Terrace London to experience a fine selection of cigars, including Cohiba, Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta, along with many others, all of which are carefully stored in humidors and are looked after by the hotel’s trained team, who can cut and light cigars for guests.
In the Ten Lounge Restaurant, Halle dined on gnocchi and was impressed with the delicious meal she was treated to, after which she retired to her plush room for a fantastic night’s sleep.
