Following a visit from Nigel Tisdall, the Ten Manchester Street Hotel in Marylebone has been awarded an 8/10 rating from The Telegraph.
The Ten Manchester Street Hotel, which is part of the Bespoke Hotels group, is an exceptionally elegant and fashionable hotel in the City of London. Ideally placed in Marylebone, the hotel sees thousands of visitors every month and the Telegraph’s review makes it easy to see why.
The review, which was done as part of Mr Tisdall’s stay at the hotel, awards different ratings for a number of categories, such as location, style, rooms and service, with an average rating being calculated from all of these.
On the topic of location, the hotel was given 9/10, with Mr Tisdall’s notes saying that the location was good, and also listed some of the nearby attractions, such as the Wallace Collection, Marylebone High Street and Regent’s Park. 8/10 was given for the hotel’s style – in Mr Tisdall’s opinion the hotel’s style is masculine and executive, but that there are flashes of colour and contemporary decor.
The rooms at Ten Manchester Street were worth an 8/10 according to Mr Tsidall, who described the room’s decor as ‘plush and quietly ritzy’, while the food and drink was given a 7/10. As Mr Tisdall noted, the restaurant is open to both hotel guests and non-residents, and there is a cigar terrace and a wooden deck for al fresco dining, and the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
On value for money Ten Manchester Street was given 8/10, and service was given a 7/10 rating.
