The Co-operative Food currently has an excellent competition in place which gives customers the chance to win a summer BBQ (RRP almost £400), plus other prizes.
The competition is being run from The Co-operative Food magazine, which can be viewed online and in print in selected Co-operative stores, and The Co-operative Food is accepting entries to the competition right now.
The winner will receive a BBQ (RRP almost £400), plus a Co-operative Food voucher for £50, which should be more than enough to buy all the food necessary to put on a superb BBQ party for friends and family. The competition question is: ‘In our ‘Classic with a twist’ food news inside The Co-operative Food magazine, what is sprinkled on top of our Truly Irresistible lemon meringue cheesecake wedge?’ This means that entrants will need to read The Co-operative Food magazine in order to come up with the answer.
The answer to the question comes in a multiple choice form, with ‘blueberries’, ‘chewy marshmallows’ and ‘chocolate fish’ being the possible answer. When entering the competition people will need to provide their first name, surname and email, and there is the option to provide a mobile number as well. The closing date for the competition is at one minute to midnight (23:59) on Wednesday the 20th June 2012.
The competition is being held in conjunction with The Co-operative Food magazine, which is packed with healthy recipe ideas for the summer season, with everything from fish dishes to sumptuous chocolate cake recipes on offer. The magazine is completely free of charge and contains a whopping 30 recipes – such as fresh tomato salsa, oven baked pea and bacon risotto, and fruit scones.
Apart from recipes and food ideas, readers can also find some interesting articles on a number of topics, such as tips for keeping your pet healthy throughout the summer months, and hints for how to keep on top of your food bills.
