I know I am guilty of walking and texting at the same time, which has led me to trip over something or walk into another person without even realizing it. We have become so dependent on technology, especially since the introduction of the smartphone and hand-held devices. Unless we participate nationwide rehabilitation focused on becoming disconnected to the Web, I believe we will continue to see a rise in accidents because of technology.
