This study was flawed from the beginning, because SpongeBob SqaurePants is geared for 6-year-olds to 11-year-olds–not preschoolers. In addition, I’m sure every cartoon show has some sort of problem directed to children, they just happened to pick this show. In the end, your child shouldn’t be watching hours of television; they need to be outside playing. Watching television for hours will cause negative effects in anyone.
