Kentucky Penis Amputation Patient Loses Lawsuit

A Kentucky truck driver who sued his urologist claiming the doctor amputated part of his penis without his consent lost his case.

I completely disagree with the jury’s decision in this case. If I were on the jury I would have ruled in favor of the victim for many reasons. The doctor should have stopped surgery and then consulted with the patient before doing such a life-altering procedure. From what I read, it did not seem the cancer was an immediate life or death threat. In addition, why wasn’t this cancer detected in the first place, before surgery?
