Study: Your Life Shortens for Every Hour You Watch TV

Every hour spent watching TV was estimated to lower life expectancy by nearly 22 minutes for those 25 and older, the study suggests.

This study provides further evidence that we need to get off the couch and start moving more. It’s the sedentary state that we keep ourselves in while watching TV that is what is killing us–not to mention the potato chips we are shoving in our mouths as we watch that TV show. It’s so important that we get back to playing outside, moving more and enjoying life instead of laying on our sofas, while we watch others live on TV.
