The AskMen and Cosmopolitan poll was quite interesting, but the one thing that struck me is that about half of men would leave their partner if they gained weight. That is truly disturbing and sickening, and just shows how society has become so focused on outside beauty instead of inward beauty. This just fuels women’s insecurities and strengthens the mindset of many women who believe they should be “supermodel skinny,” and fat is ugly.
