Debate: Are Los Angeles Students Getting a ‘Break’ with new Homework Policy?

Homework will now count for only 10% of a student’s grade.

I think policy is setting up students for failure when they do move on to college. In college, there is nothing but homework and your grade depends–a lot of the time–solely on your homework and studying. This will start bad habits and laziness that will only hurt them when they enter a university. I have to completely agree with the teacher’s prospective on this new regulation.
