A recent report revealed that $41 billion yearly is spent on medical and work loss expenses as a result of crash-related deaths.

I totally agree with the report’s recommendations for creating safer roads and drivers. Tougher seat belt laws need to be enacted, as well as a graduated driver’s licenses, curfews and other mandatory driving education courses. In addition, I would like to see driving classes become a mandatory requirement before getting your driver’s license.
