“Children born in 2009 will live an average of 78 years and 2 months, up from 78 years in 2008, according to preliminary data released Wednesday by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,” reported U.S. News and World Report. The advancements in medicine are definitely helping to create longer lives, as well as education of health issues. But, it looks like we will need to revamp Social Security for these longer lives.
