Banned alcoholic-energy drink Four Lokos recycled into ethanol fuel

After the FDA demed Four Lokos dangerous for human consumption, wholesalers have been thinking of new ways to unload the drinks.

MXI Environmental Services in Virginia has been working at full capacity and receiving four trucks a day to turn the dangerous alcoholic-energy drink, Four Loko, into ethanol fuel. The liquid is distilled down to ethanol that will be blended into gasoline for vehicles, while the aluminum cans are sold to a recycler, reported Discovery News. I’m glad to see the banned drinks are not going to waste and are being disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
