Lean Games Presentations Company ELSE Inc’s New Site Teaches Teams To Win in Global Marketplace

ELSE Inc. (Experiential Lean Solutions for Enterprise) has launched its new Lean games and associated Lean presentations site designed to challenge business teams to learn to compete and win in the global marketplace by playing.

WINDSOR, ONTARIO — ELSE Inc. (Experiential Lean Solutions for Enterprise) has redesigned and re-launched its new website in response to an increased need to deliver Lean training programs that combine the theory with practical, hands-on exercises and applications for an in-depth, experiential learning event.

The new site combines Lean presentations with popular Lean games and other resources needed for a successful implementation of Lean manufacturing. All these assist companies to compete and win in the global marketplace.

“Extensive research on learning and teaching methods, as well as personal experience in the field show that trainers must truly engage the students in order for deep understanding to take place. By providing hands-on simulation games in addition to standard written and visual materials, learners with different types of learning styles and strengths are able to gain the required knowledge,” said George Bacioiu, co-owner of ELSE Inc. (http://elseinc.com).

A variety of Lean games and simulations specially designed and tested for corporate team training, including the ‘Lean Ball Game’ and the ‘One Piece Flow Game’ are accessible through the website. In a classroom environment, teams play and compete with each other as they apply newly acquired knowledge in the Lean manufacturing field during the training sessions.

“Most trainers understand the important role experiments play in the learning process. A fun learning environment with respect for the learner’s abilities fosters an effective experiential learning environment. It is vital that the individuals are encouraged to become directly involved in the experience in order to gain a better understanding of the new idea and retain the information for a longer time,” said George Bacioiu.

After participating in various conferences, workshops, classes, seminars or lectures, and meetings, instructors desperately trying to reach out to students with different learning styles, Bacioiu developed a unique system that today is the foundation of ELSE Inc. The ELSE Inc. training system incorporates various learning styles — while also providing tools and guides for instructors.

Says Bacioiu, “We designed our system to consider both, the trainees and the trainers by tapping into various sources and methods in order to create a powerful combination. That is extremely effective in helping the trainees to fundamentally understand the concepts while experiencing them hands-on while supporting the instructors by providing all they need to make the transfer of knowledge successful and meaningful.”
