Dairy producer from China claims responsibility for six baby deaths due to tainted formula

The biggest dairy producer from China’s former chairwoman today pleaded guilty accepting responsibility for melamine tampering which led to the death of six kids and at least 300,000 injuries.
According to an alert issued by food injury lawyers from Palm Beach County and news reporters dealing with tainted milk justice, a Sanlu executive from China pleaded guilty taking responsibility for the contaminated formula on Wednesday. According to the Sanlu executive Tian, she was aware of the fact that the company was selling formula that is contaminated in the month of May 2008. She however reported this issue to the officials in the local government only in October 2008.
Even as early as December 2007, there were complaints from consumers regarding Sanlu milk, according to court documents. The first day of the trial of three executives from Sanlu, one of the largest dairy producers in China saw Tian coming forth with her plea. From the beginning of this year, food injury lawyers from West Palm Beach ad news reporters dealing with tainted dairy products have been reporting on injuries, deaths, alerts, recalls ad scandals in the dairy market.
Sanlu tainted milk is reported to have killed six children and injured at least 300,000 of them. Infants and children suffer from kidney failure due to melamine exposure which is highly toxic. This is one of the many scandals plaguing the food and drug industry in China and has resulted in recall of dairy and milk products produced in China. Melamine was used on purpose by executives in the dairy industry in China in order to increase the protein count. Melamine is highly toxic and was used in order to increase sales in America.
