Mark Desnoyers is in trouble for trying to violate the federal Clean Air Act. It is a serious charge as he played with the health and lives of many trusting residents. Mark Desnoyers is the owner of the New York based company Adirondack Environmental Associates. He worked as an air monitor. His work entailed testing samples and providing reports to give a clean chit to asbestos companies. He was also required to provide proper documentation of safe asbestos abatement and removal from both commercial buildings and residential homes.
He has been accused of falsifying reports and conniving with companies to allow activities, which violate the federal, Clean Air Act and he also provided false facts to Environmental Protection Agency Special Agents. This resulted in unsafe amounts of asbestos being released int o the environment that could lead to many terminal diseases. The most dreaded out of the lot is lung cancer and the dreaded Mesothelioma. Concerned citizens and the federal government seek justice. His false reports enabled asbestos companies to leave behind highly polluted environment which was detrimental to health
Two men have already testified and plead guilty of using falsified reports provided by Mark Desnoyers. The two men are John Wood, owner of J&W Construction, Inc, and Curtis Collins, owner of Adirondack Asbestos.
Mark Desnoyers faces a maximum imprisonment of 25 years, fine upto $1.25 million and restitution to the victims. Wood and Collins face imprisonment upto 5 years and a fine up to $250,000.
